Get a better Car with Quikr NXT

In a cosmopolitan city like Delhi it is important to have a personal vehicle as a primary or alternate mode of transport. If you are a family man then a car is the obvious choice. With this consideration in  mind I purchased my first   car which I could afford with available resources in my initial years of my career for meeting the transportation requirements for me and my family. It gave us good service for couple of years. However, being a non AC car it was uncomfortable during the summer months and during extreme cold months of December and January. As it was a small car it could barely accommodate our family. If anyone else was required to be accommodated we all had to squeeze  in  and such journeys would become an ordeal for all of us . In our small family car we  could not think of going on long outstation journeys with all family members as well as the luggage.  Soon we started realising that although we owned a car it was barely meeting our requirements . When we would see others travelling in bigger and better cars our frustration grew.
However upgrading to a new car was easier said than done. There were so many factors which had to be considered.  These factors included the make , the model , the colour , the distributor from whom to purchase ,contacting the right customer for getting the best price for our existing car and foremost the resources for translating our desire into reality.
Both me and my spouse are working persons and therefore it became difficult for us to  spare time enough to find solutions to these factors before us . So we continued to make do with our small car . But after our car had lived it’s useful life the breakdowns started. On several occasions we would find ourselves stranded in the middle of nowhere. Well we could not postpone our decision to upgrade to a better car any longer . But how to resolve the issues before us.
One day someone advised us on Quikr NXT. We had never visited their website earlier. However we decided to give it a try. On accessing the Quikr NXT site we were in for a big pleasant surprise. In a glimpse we found solutions to all the issues for purchasing a  new car. The choices before us were immense. Quikr NXT facilitates in every way and provides proper information  to help in becoming the proud owner of your dream car. It displays a wide range of cars available for sale together with their price , model , salient features , particulars of the owner. One of the greatest features of the Quikr NXT site is that it provides chatting facility between the buyer and the seller. We found that through Quikr NXT we could also sell our existing car at the best available price.

Thanks to Quikr NXT it is helping us to translate our dream into reality. I would advise all others like us to take the help of Quikr NXT to upgrade to a better car.

Bedtime Rituals with my Child

A young parent's precious moments in life are dotting over her baby, attending to it’s requirements and keeping her baby happy and smiling. The mother can spend hours talking , playing and cuddling her baby without realizing how time flies by. The bond between a mother and her child is the purest form of relationship; her baby becomes the focus of a mother for entire life. She is concerned about her baby’s health and upkeep.  I am of the view that various factors play an important role in baby’s good physical and mental health.

The best feeling of parenthood is to see your infant smiling. I feel blessed when I see my one year old child fresh and happy.  A child stays fresh all day if he gets a proper rest at the night and sleep for sufficient hours. I m a very protective parent and I make sure that my child does not face any problem or trouble at the night.
The best time rituals which I share with my one year old kid are the best time. It not only relaxes my soul but also helps my baby to  get a sound sleep. I am sharing few activities or rituals which I always follow to give my baby a peaceful sleep:

Give my baby proper and timely diet: The first and the foremost factor I keep in mind is proper and timely diet for my baby which helps it getting a  proper good night’s rest . I prefer feeding my baby at least two hours before the bed time. The food takes time to digest and it is also good for my baby’s health.  It feels great when my baby finishes his meal and goes to sleep early.

Make my baby feel comfortable: An infant cannot sleep if it is feeling uncomfortable and uneasy during night. There are several reasons which hamper the sleep of a baby. If the clothes it is wearing is too tight and uncomfortable, it can cause disturbance in it’s sleep.  I make sure that my  baby is wearing clothes which are loose and comfortable for him. My baby gets excited to see her yellow colour cotton track pants. I love it when I change my baby’s clothes. I also always check that his bedding is also comfortable and cozy. My baby loves to sleep in his white cot.

Change Baby’s diapers properly: I never take any chance with my baby. I prefer the best products for my baby that are harmless to my little angel. I love it when I change my baby’s diapers. Unlike other infants, my baby keeps on smiling while changing the diapers. I prefer Pampers for my little one as my baby can get good night’s sleep. It does not get wet and keeps my baby fresh and fine throughout the night.

Go out for a night walk: My baby loves it when I take her for a night walk in her red pram. She loves to breathe fresh air. I always take her for a walk for five minutes. She enjoys a lot by seeing the trees and flowers. It seems that she is a nature lover. This is the best bedtime ritual I share with my baby.

Live The Life You Have Always Dreamed Of!

A person who does not have any wish and is content in himself is no less than a saint. For lesser mortals like me we at every stage of our life harbour desires to do what we could not for one reason or the other. There are some who would wait in anticipation for their dreams to be fulfilled. There are others who have enough determination and grit to achieve what they want. In fact all of us have both these qualities , though in varying degrees.

The top five things on my bucket list which i would do if I be tension free for the whole life are:

1.Maintain Good Health Health is wealth goes the clichéd saying . For a person at my age the foremost thing I would like to do would be to become a Yoga expert like yoga guru B.K.S Iyenger. It would not only help me to remain healthy but influence those around me to remain healthy. With exorbitant medical expenses which increases with advancing age just imagine the money and manpower we would be saving by remaining healthy and leading a healthy life.

2.Counselling the Needy In today’s space age life is a race for one-upmanship where one is trying to outdo the other. In  this race some of us move ahead while the rest get left behind leading to despondency and dejection. Failure in life has an adverse impact on many of us and sometimes clouds our thinking to analyse situations rationally. I have been no exception to this phenomena. With the varied experience gained through the ups and downs of life I feel I am now in a position to put those who have lost sense of direction in life on encountering failures on the right track. Thus I would like to become a Counsellor for those who are feeling low for the adversities they have faced in life.

3. Tour the World Our planet is considered the most beautiful planet not only in our solar system but our entire galaxy. It is made up of varied terrain , flora and fauna. Every nation has its own tradition , culture language and culture. I have always harboured a wish for travelling to other countries of the world, experience their culture, tradition, habitat and cuisine. I have always dreamt of standing on the top of the Effle Tower, wonder at the cascading Niagara Falls , stand on the edge of the Grand Canyon ,experience with awe the varied wild life of Africa, shiver in the intense cold of the Arctic. So if given an opportunity I would definitely like to tour the world.

4. Experience Outer Space I have always looked with  admiration at the vast expanse of the Outer Space . I have read with fascination at the innumerable planets and stars and wondered at the cosmic marvel. Whenever I get the time I gaze at the vast cosmos through a telescope that I have.  Recently I happened to see a film named the Gravity which depicts the ordeal of astronauts stuck in outer space. I was spellbound by the images of the Earth from outer space. So if given a chance I would definitely like to travel to outer space , experience zero gravity, look out from the window of the space craft at the breathtaking view outside.

5. Become an Expert Piano Player Music has been my best companion. While I have always harboured the desire to become a master piano player my busy schedule kept me away form translating this desire into reality . Now that all my responsibilities are over I would definitely like to become a master piano player.

No Fikar.Get Quikr

In today’s fast paced age of corporate culture where working hours are long and time is money  it  is difficult to garner time to go out for shopping. Under such circumstances the concept of online shopping is gaining more and more popularity with persons like us. Without moving out from one’s place one can scan the wide spectrum of different products  available through online sites. However, one may have several queries before settling for a product which can be satisfied either through phone calls to through chats.

Quikr’s application facilitating chats between the buyers and the sellers has a marked advantage over the system of phone calls. The Quikr NXT application has a great advantage for buyers and sellers over phone calls. I always prefer chatting over phone calls because of the following three reasons:

You can share photos on the chat:  It is closest to physical shopping. It is but natural for a buyer to see and feel a product before going in for actual product. What colour would be most appropriate, which size would be suitable, what should be the look and feel of the product. These are some of the normal requirements of every customer. The interaction through chatting has a definite edge over phone calls. Photographs and video clippings relating to the product can be easily made available through the medium of chatting.  The customers can get a fair idea of the product and its features.

You can refer to chat history when needed: In the case of new gadgets many a times a customer may not know how to operate the product. Surely such requirements are difficult to be resolved through phone calls. The chat history would help the customer to refer back to the steps or procedure indicated in the case of a subsequent confusion. Once again explanation of the steps through pictures or video clippings facilitates the customers to understand the operations quicker.
There are also instances when there are certain terms and conditions attached to a product. Through the method of chats one can peruse such terms and conditions before purchasing a product.

You can maintain your privacy:  People do not like sharing their contact numbers with anyone. It irritates the customers when they get call from some random number during their busy schedule.  Some people hardly listen to the seller when they try to explain about the products.  They either become agitated or shows lack of interest and disconnect the call before even listening to the features of the product. With Quikr NXT chat, the buyer and seller can interact with each other as per their convenience. They can interact and discuss about the products without sharing their contact details. This promotes healthy interaction between the buyer and the seller.

I always prefer buying products from Quikr.com not only because of the quality and price of the product but because of its wonderful features like chat while shopping.

Proposing My Crush

Love is a beautiful feeling and the best part of it is when the love is not one sided. The person who is your crush now can also turn out to be your life partner.  I was always scared of proposing the girl whom I like the most. Whenever I have tried to approach her, fear of losing a friend like her stops me. She is my best friend. We know each other since childhood and I do not known that when the friendship turned into love. Now she is more than a friend to me and I see her as my life partner.  At the same time , I am scared of expressing my true love.
Now, it is high time to confess my love to her. If I do not express my feelings to her, I would always have to live my whole life with a  regret.
This valentine’s day, I have planned to propose her in an unusual way.
Before approaching someone, it is always better to check whether your crush is single or not. If your crush is already committed to someone then there is no point approaching him/her.
As she is my best friend, I know her inside out. She never had any relationships and completely single.
I would call my crush two days before valentine’s day and fix the date with her so that she is free for the whole day. I have planned an early morning date on a beach side where we would have our breakfast. I have decided to cook for her because every women likes when a man cooks for her. I have planned all her favourite dishes. After breakfast; I have decided to take her out for shopping. There I would buy something creative and colourful for her. It is very important to look confident and happy before proposing your crush so that your crush does not feel awkward. It is also important to look presentable and dress nicely on your date.
At last, I would drop her at her home and say good bye. After five minutes I would make sure that she is inside her house. I would put a small puppy as she is a pet lover and always wanted a dog. I would also put a bunch of red flowers for her with a greeting card where I would write my feelings for her. I would knock the door and hide somewhere else to see her expressions when she would read my message. I am quite sure that this would definitely bring smile on her face. After a moment I would come in front of her and bend down on my knees, gifting her a diamond ring with a note attached to it saying  ‘Marry Me! ‘
That would be the most special moment for both of us. I cannot wait anymore to plan my proposal and the valentine’s day!

Common Indian Litterbug

 The Great Indian Litterbug!

In my childhood I read a popular book by HG Wells, War of the Worlds. It is about the invasion by Martians with a mission to eliminate the human race. In the end the aliens are overpowered by the minuscule bacteria. Things have changed today. An alien will think twice before attacking , particularly India for fear of the Great Indian Litterbug who is more dangerous than the inconsequential bacteria.
The Great Indian Litterbug is not an uncommon species in our Country . He could be seen littering the streets , he has a habbit common to other species ,like the dog of urinating and defecating in the open. The Great Indian litterbug is also fondly addressed as Pig as his habits resemble the latter creature. Just like a fish out of water this species is allergic to a clean environment. He would not rest but work untiringly to  dirty and pollute every clean area he comes across.
These habits he acquires from his childhood. He has grown up watching his elders throw garbage on the streets. He has seen his family litter a beautiful garden while on a picnic. He  together with other members of his species have without impunity polluted our rivers and ponds in the name of religion. He and others like him would not think twice before letting the effluent from their homes and factories into the rivers and streams. So what if the polluted water ends the marine life and contaminates the water we drink . It is for the authorities to resolve such problems.
The Great Indian Litterbug is very fond of plastic bags. He has not heard of the ban on plastic bags. He would look with indifference at you if you caution him that plastic bags are a big health hazard as they can cause cancer. He is not bothered if plastic is non biodegradable. He turns a blind eye when he comes across overflowing drains due to plastic bags chocking them. For him plastic bags are  cheap and convenient meant to be disposed off without a care after use.
The Great Indian Litterbug has another unique habit of painting the walls  , pathways , pavements and the streets with his spittoon. His work of art is visible all over the Country, be it market places, monuments, walls of public buildings. He does this with dexterity and is a master at his art. While travelling in his own vehicle he is careful while spitting that his spittoon does not leave a mark on his vehicle. He never hesitates to leave his indelible contribution on the walls of monuments and other heritage buildings.
Who says the terrorists are a big threat to our Country . The seemingly innocuous Litterbug surpasses them by all means. So Martians better beware as  long as the Great Indian Litterbug is around.
Let us come together and stand against the Great Indian Litterbugs. It is our responsibility to save our nation from the great Indian litterbug.

I stood for a Cause

I come form a  middle class family.Like many other boys and girls form middle class families I have been taught right form childhood to respect values in life. One such important value taught to us is to always support a just cause. From our grandparents and parents we have been hearing stories from the mythology where good always prevails over evil. Even our festivals like Deepawali and Holi signify the triumph of good over evil. But  somewhere down the line on  several occasions for one reason or another we compromise with our principles in life.
After completing schooling , I took admission in one of the prestigious colleges of Delhi University in North Campus. Like many others from middle class families as long as I was in school I was under the close watch of my parents and teachers. At every step I was guided as what to do and what not to do ; what is right and what is wrong. On entering college all restrictions were suddenly gone. Now I was on my own.
Ours was a co-ed college. Till my school life I had had not much interaction with those from the opposite sex. So I was a bit hesitant and became very conscious while talking with the other girls .  One of the girls in the class was named Namita. She stood out from the others  perhaps because of her looks as well as demure nature. We would take the same U special on the way back home but I never mustered enough courage to talk to her. One day she had to sit next to me in the bus. The proximity to each other provided an opportunity to start a  conversation.  During the one hour journey to our respective stoppages we did not realise how time flew by. From that day Namita and I became good friends. A day would not pass without meeting each other. We  never realised when this friendship turned into true love. When vacations came while others felt happy but we felt morose.
Time flew by and finally we passed out from college. I got a job in a reputed company in Bombay. While my career took me away from Namita our relationship continued. We would chat for long durations every day. One day I realised that it was time for us to become life partners and I proposed to Namita. I expected a very positive response from her but to my dismay she kept quiet. Finally she said that she came from a lower caste. I was for a moment taken aback.
I belong to a Brahmin family. Although I lived in a big city the caste system has continued to influence our lives. Despite great leaders like Mahatma Gandhi by setting examples have advocated against the caste system we have found it difficult to emerge from the shackles of the caste system. Consequently marriages would be from within the same caste. So when Namita  confessed that she belonged to a lower caste my heart sank. While I  as a person was not particular as to which community or caste my life partner belonged my main reason for the dismay was the resistence that I would encounter at home and amongst relatives. I had to decide whether to give up Namita for the social norms of my family and community or to face them for the cause of my true love.I did not have courage to face my family. So while I decided to tell my  family about Namita I hid the fact about her caste from them. My family did not have any problem if she belonged to the same caste.
I could not sleep the whole night and next day confessed to Namita that I had lied to my family. Namita was not prepared to start a life together whose foundation was based on a lie. I realised my mistake and felt small before her and apologised for my conduct. I resolved to stand in support of my true love come what may. As expected, there was a lot of resistence from all around but both Namita and I stood our ground.
We finally got married in a Court before the marriage registrar. None of our relatives attended our marriage ceremony. We never regretted our decision to get married to each other. While we were the pioneers in our family seeing how happy we were with each other  many  others from our families took to inter-caste marriages.
